Well this is some of the stuff I've been doing for the past week~
I modeled a simple few planes and added a palm leaf texture on it XD it looks pretty okay to put into our game :D
After the open house playtest, we realised many of the playtesters did not know where to go sometimes. So we decided to improve the feedback in the game. This is a simple border that will be placed at locations that are of interest to the player. For example, if a door can be opened, this border will be at the door.
Alright, this stairs is modelled for level 5 :D I started with the fanning out stairs and realised that I needed the straight stairs too and yeah in the end I have both :D They are mainly used for the final boss fight. These stairs will expand themselves when the time is right and it will prompt the player to use the stairs to the main objective which is to hack the computer I've modeled below.
At first we decided to use the compuer we used for previous levels to allow the player to hack but we thought it would be better if the final boss fight had different props. Khairi gave me a reference picture to model and yeah this is the end result.
This is the energy station that is connected to one computer that I modeled above. Each energy station will explode when the computer that it is linked to is hacked. When this happens, the boss will be stunned for a few seconds, allowing the player to whack.
This is just a simple crate rack that holds crates which will be a nice prop to have in our levels :D
We had health pickups for the players but it was the same model as the points pick up model thus i decided to model a health icon :D but...
N9 is a robot D: so i changed it to a spanner instead :D So it makes more sense as a healing item XD
Well I've done quite a few usable particle effects too! I'll post them up when I get the images.
